Klay Thompson Unhappy With NBA 75th Anniversary Team Omission

Klay unhappy with NBA 75th Anniversary team omission originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Klay Thompson was not included on the NBA's 75th Anniversary team, and the Warriors star took to Instagram to express his displeasure.

"Maybe I'm just naive in my ability to play basketball, but in my head I'm top 75 all time," Klay wrote on his Instagram story.

With the NBA celebrating its 75th Anniversary in the 2021-22 season, it used a panel of former players, coaches and media members to determine the 75 best players in the league's history so far. However, due to a tie in the voting, there are 76 players included on the list.

To the surprise of no one, Steph Curry was included among the 76 players.

Klay is a three-time champion and one of the best shooters of all time, but he has been away from the court for each of the last two seasons due to injury.

Whether or not the voters believe he is top 75 of all time, the Warriors will be thrilled when Klay can suit up and get back on the court at Chase Center with his teammates.
