Bear Sightings in Buford, Georgia

Residents in Buford, Georgia are spotting more bears in their backyard. A few people say they spotted the animal moseying down the street, just before he entered one backyard. That’s where the nearly 300 pound black bear decided to set up shop and stay awhile. Homeowner Bruce Zavitz says the animal helped himself to some cherry tomatoes, just before he had a little fun with a bird feeder. Other bears have been spotted in Buckhead, Norcross, and even one near Roswell Cemetery.
