Chemical Leak at Livermore Oil Field May Have Contaminated Some Alameda County Water Supplies
E&B Natural Resources waited months to notify state and local regulators of a leak at its Livermore oil field, something the company is legally required to do. That leak could have potentially contaminated water supplies in the area, but more than seven months after E&B discovered the leak, no one knows if the hazardous chemicals pose a health risk. E&B has until Dec. 21 to report the water testing results to Alameda County. Bigad Shaban reports in a story that first aired Nov. 24, 2015.
