McDonald's Halloween Fries in Japan

For those who just can’t get enough of pumpkin flavored treats for Halloween, McDonald’s Japan has begun offering its customers french fries covered with pumpkin and chocolate sauce. The new menu item, named the “Halloween Choco Potato” was launched on Wednesday. McDonald’s Japan came up with this surprising combination of sweet-and-salty taste to mark its 45th anniversary in Japan. Its “McChoco potatoes” which is chocolate covered fries was first released in Japan last January. As with many countries around the world, Halloween in Japan is marked by having pumpkin spiced beverages and food. Many are pleased with McDonald’s new menu item. It will be available in Japan until the end of October.
