Moraga's ‘Painted Rock' Saved After $2 Million Donation

An East Bay landmark is being saved! The land where the “Painted Rock” in Moraga stands was at risk of being developed when its owner died. However, locals donated $2 million to his widow and the property is now a large, public open space.
