300-Plus Firefighters Battle Fire Before it Encroaches on Oakland Hills Homes

As wind-driven flames on Tuesday marched toward the Monte Vista Villas in the Oakland Hills, more than 300 firefighters rushed in from the ground and air. More than 100 homes were evacuated as the blaze spread to four alarms amid high temperatures and low humidity. Marianne Favro reports.
