San Francisco Rents Are Nation's Highest: Report

San Francisco is the costliest city in the United States when it comes to apartment rentals, with a one-bedroom flat going for $3,240 per month, according to a new report by apartment listings website Abodo. Other Bay Area cities aren’t far behind. San Jose is the third-most expensive market: with the median rent for a one-bedroom coming in at $2,378. Oakland came in seventh place with a monthly rent of $2,025.
