Watch San Ramon native Anna Cockrell race to silver in 400m hurdles

San Ramon native Anna Cockrell finished second in the women's 400m hurdles final at the Paris Olympics Thursday to secure her first Olympic medal.

Cockrell crossed the finish line at 51.87 to take home silver.

Fellow American Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone broke her own world record, finishing at 50.37 to capture her second straight Olympic title.
