Former Stanford star Alex Bowen scored a goal in the third quarter, but it was not enough as Team USA fell to Serbia in the men's water polo semifinal.
Bowen, playing in his third Olympics, leads the U.S. in the bronze medal match Sunday against either Hungary or Croatia.
