The U.S. men’s water polo team, which features several players with Bay Area ties, is moving on to the semifinals at the Paris Olympics following a thrilling shootout victory over Australia Wednesday.
Cal's Adrian Weinberg came up clutch in the shootout, stopping two shots from finding the back of the net.
Team USA will play in the semifinals on Friday.
