A wide range of damage, including downed trees, downed power poles, trees stripped of branches, numerous overturned vehicles, and damaged street signs, was inflicted by a tornado in Scotts Valley on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Marianne Favro has the latest details. 

Five people were injured in the tornado that ripped through Scotts Valley Saturday, police said Sunday morning. Power had been restored to businesses by Sunday morning, and all roads within city limits had reopened, according to police. Marianne Favro reports the latest details.

Also Saturday, San Francisco residents awoke to a tornado warning, but none touched down there. It was the first such warning for the city since at least 1950.
