Testing continues to be a big part of slowing the spread of COVID-19. Imagine getting a test, putting the sample into a device, and having your smartphone tell you if you’re positive. That’s what a team of Bay Area researchers are working on. NBC Bay Area’s Anoushah Rasta spoke with Dr. Melanie Ott, one of the team’s leaders, about the technology.
