Tens of thousands of fish washed ashore across the Bay Area and Lake Merritt was one of the hardest-hit areas. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke to Damon Tighe, a naturalist based in the East Bay, who has been documenting the fish kill, for some insight.
