Forecast: Spotty rain and thunderstorm chance

A new system will bring rain chances by the late morning to parts of the Bay Area.

NBC Universal, Inc. Chief Meteorologist Jeff Ranieri tracks the chance of rain returning in your Microclimate Weather forecast.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds return for the morning and 40s to 50s as a system will be just to the north. Expect rain chances to return over the North Bay from 11AM into 3PM with a spotty chance elsewhere. Totals will range from trace amounts to .25 inch. Expect drying conditions through Wednesday evening with a few more rain chances Thursday and Friday.
