Rob's Forecast: Overnight Showers, Windy Ahead
A weak, yet fairly chilly system will move through the Bay Area before sunrise on Sunday. We’ll see some showers at times, and possibly a little snow on the higher peaks of Lake and Sonoma counties. But unlike last weekend when we could measure rain by the inch, this system isn’t expected to provide more than 0.05” for the North Bay, with lesser to zero totals south. As strong high pressure builds in behind this system, winds will increase out of the north on Sunday helping to clear our skies. Things will likely turn more gusty into Monday morning where wind speeds in the 20-30 mph range will be common in the hills with higher gusts, and locally windy conditions as well around the bay and valleys. Dry weather is expected to last through the end of the week as high pressure holds its ground across the West Coast.
